Me and my 3ic (3rd in charge) are falling for one another. Although we never really told each other….he calls me cute lil names or when I walk past him he always calls my name but not once like 5 times in a row just to say hi!! Also he wants to know all about me what I like doing if I have a bf, looks at me all the time, the other day he walked in to the backroom and looked at me as I looked up he goes " I cant remember what I came in hear for" and then complemented my hair saying that he likes it dark it reminds him of liquorice? When I was sick he asks me 20 times if im ok and if I want to go into the back room to rest!! He lets me get away with allot of things I can leave work when I want to go to the bathroom where as the other staff have to ask him if they can leave. But I just have a small problem with all this I like him and all but he is 12 years older then me. I don’t know if this is a problem I mean age should not really matter? Help ohhh and also do u think he likes me?

It definitely sounds as though he likes you and I doubt the age difference would be much of a problem, although it depends on whether or not you'd be thinking about a long term relationship and how old you both are now. Can you imagine what the age difference would mean in twenty or thirty years time? Also, I would worry about the fact that you work with him...would it affect your job if you let anything happen, and if it did all go wrong in the future, that might affect your happiness at work. I would also think seriously about whether you actually really like him, or whether you might just be flattered by the attention he's giving you, and the fact that romantic intrigue at work makes the days more interesting! Is it worth jeopardising contentment at work for this man if you were to let anything happen? If it is just a bit of sexual tension and not anything solid, you could end up in a sticky situation if you find out that having him is actually a little bit boring.
I think next time he does something like looks at you for a little too long, you should say casually, "What's that look for?" or something like that and then try to gauge his reaction. Or, if you are in a social situation with him, get chatting and if he's flirty, mention the fact that he's being flirty without letting him know either way whether you're interested or not, and maybe that will lead to a conversation about what's going on between the two of you and what you should do about it. Then you'll be in a better position to decide how much you like him, and what you want out of a possible relationship with him, and whether or not the age difference would get in the way. Bear in mind that he may be reticent as because he is older than you, he might assume you are out of his league!

I really feel that age doesn't matter when it comes to Love and Marriage. My Mother left Me 2- years ago and I thought I would loose My Father so after because of loneliness but My Father recently remarried to a Woman 25yrs young then Him and His health has improved 100%. She pushes Him to be a better Person as well as a better Man. I feel age only enhances the relationship because of the respect factors because most couples with age differences seem to spend more quality time together, travel more and budget better. What one lacks the other develops, what one needs the other gives so age should really be a plus not a negative when Love and Marriage are concerned.

12 years isn't really that big of an age difference as long as you are mature and an adult. It could be a little bit of a problem as far as likes in music and such. Who knows? You did say that he is 3ic. That kinda sounds like a work relationship. More importantly, a supervisor/ subordinate situation. That is almost always prohibited in the work place. Is this potential relationship more important than your employment?

Does he like you? Sounds like a yes. In what form does he like you, is another matter. He may like you as a woman or he may like acting fatherly to you. Your closest to him. So, you'd have a better chance to judge that yourself.

I get the impression that he fancies you. The age difference may be a factor (how old are both of you?).
Some office-romances work, usually when the co-workers are equals.
What I can suggest is that the two of you be discreet about this matter, especially since he's your boss. The others may or may not be too pleased. Also, if it doesn't work out between the two of you, things can get iffy at work.
A bit of sage advice: Try not to mix business with pleasure.

Age hold no barriers as the saying goes.
My Partner is 19 years younger than me and although it was a bit of an adjustment to start with we realized that what was in the heart is all that mattered.
We allow each other to have our differences in age but that is what we are both attracted to. As long as you allow each other to grow then age will be no obstacle.
Its called rescipicated love.

As to him liking you only he can answer that, but be carefull that he is not flattering him self. If he is single then there is no reason to think that he doesn't but if he is attatched then be carefull that he is not flattering him self.

Tell ur store manager whats going on before you get hurt!
PS i dont think he likes you he just wants something else.
If hes 12 yrs older and you a minor its actually a crime under the child protection act so you could get him in a lot of trouble if you follow it thru.

First question, is he married, in a relationship or have a girlfriend? If no, I'd say he's in love with you. 12 years is a fair bit of difference though but it can work. Good luck!

If you're as old as you sound, I suspect Mr. Third-in-Charge could be spending a long time in fed prison.
