U may have many crushes. It's juz saying to ur mind that this guy or girl is hot, cute etc and flirting with him/her.
But once u r in love, u really like and admire the person u r in love with. U like his behaviour, character and personality. It's something emotional.

you can have a crush on anyone like celebrities, actors, the boy next door, class mates etc. Love is the next step, if you act on your crush and send a message to your crush, who receives your message and sends you a positive reply, then it is love.
In short, a single person can have a crush. You need two consenting parties for love to happen
