A. "Pearly gates" are a metaphor. B. Scripture is quite clear that the resurrected righteous will be in the presence of the one who created Heaven and Earth, and will have no fear. That is, we will be resurrected first (having been judged righteous) and will be in a perfect situation. Nothing that corrupts will be there to mar our total harmony. Therefore the tone of your question indicates a serious lack of understanding.

surely there is no way you would be God. Because God is not a person he is Sovereing, Omnipotent, Omnicient and Omnipresent and I do not see you being that, besides nothing can be used to compare with God.
So for me as a Christian your question or event the remotest possibility does not arise. It just can not happen period!
