Michigan has a large Legal Iraq population there.

Dearborn has a large population of Iraqi. You could likely find groups to help you there. Just put his name into google and try that, first, though. If he has a job which puts his profile on the internet, it should come up.

Contact the US Consulate or the US State Department at http://www.state.gov

If your uncle is in Protective Custody, you MUST go through the US State Department Diplomatic Security Services.

If he is not in protective custody, contact the International Family Aid & Support Center HQ, at http://www.ifasc.org/eng08.html and they will try to locate him for you free of charge.

try yellow pag search, google search and yahoo groups, also try contracting homeland security or any religious groups or non- religious clubs you may think he could belong to if you know which state he could possibly live in.... but you could try just doing a people search online....
