War isn't about patriotism, national security, or and such things most of the time, it is all about the almighty buck. The government is making the big bucks, along with all the contractors associated with the government via cronyism ,and none of the benefits ever is seen by the common everyday people.

Every carpetbagger that got the opportunity to get a contract that was dished out before the fighting even started.The carpetbaggers were around in 1865 and by gee aren't they lapping up the milk
