I have tried to understand nature of your question. Not sure I managed though. I would say the that time spent answering questions depends on your motives. From Buddhist point of view one should answer sincerely and with the needs of the questioner in mind. Bringing understanding or a clearer view to someone would not be seen as a waste of time. Lazy? not really, it takes effort to answer clearly, and at the moment my attention is not required elsewhere. Lazy Busy? Neither I think. I am doing other things on the web as I answer this so may be a bit buisy!. Does that help? I'm Soto Zen flavour by the way!
