Im going to get a 1G for my digital camera but im ordering over the phone do they come in different shapes and sizes, its doesnt say anywhere in the manual that came with the camera apart from SD card? Camera is a Premier DS6065 6mp.

There are 3 kinds of SD cards, normal size, mini SD and micro SD. The mini and micro SD cards come with an adaptor to make them the same size as a normal SD card and so will fit a normal SD slot.

A standard SD card is all you need (not mini or micro). Sandisk is a good manufacturer, but beware of counterfeit copies, so buy from a reputable reseller. I wouldn't recommend Ebay as too many of the offerings listed are fake. If the price of the card seems incredibly cheap, it's likely a fake. The old maxim, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".

SD card is already the type, so you are fine.
sandisk is a good brand, so go for that.
ordering over the phone is ok, just be sure the price tag
is correct (compare online).

SD is one "shape". There is also CF, XD, USB-key and sony.
each technology is a diffrent shape so if your manual says you need SD, you will need SD only. Then you can get it in any size, 256mb, 512mb, 1gb...

standard SD comes in a single shape. there is a micro-sd but it's much MUCH smaller. you would have no problem distinguishing the two.

dont order over the phone try ebay it will be about half the price
