Do you think she's cute?!

Her name is Tilly, she was about 8 weeks when that photo was taken

She is a mix between 2 breeds.

HAHA yes good guess!

She is NOT a rottie or a doberman.

The 2 breeds have been said but not together!

Cute as... but I think the ears are tell tale give away for one of the spaniel family -(have a look and see if it has any dark patches on its skin on the legs because normally spaniel crosses have skin colouring that is bit like giant freckles on their legs). The paws are pretty big so it looks like it still has a fair bit of growing to do and just because the puppy is black don't automatically think of black breeds.
It does look a lot like a spaniel/hound crossbreed to me but normally these crosses are only black and white unless one parent was part bred. Until it grows up and takes on its mature characteristics Its anybodys guess but I think that it has typical 'hunting type" so I suspect a spaniel cross to something amongst the hunting group such as a German pointer, hound, weriemer (not sure how you spell that one) etc.
Well thats my stab in the dark.

First things first, she's absolutely adorable.
Secondly she does look like she has a little Rottweiler in her. She certainately has the colours and markings of one.
Here take a look :

She definately isn't big enough though as rottweiler pups are huge! So am guessing she is crossed with a much smaller breed.

Her ears are nice and floppy and there is a possibility she could have Dachund in her.

These also have the colors of a Rottweiler.

Am not sure about Doberman as they have quite long snouts and Tilly doesn't seem to have this. But its worth considering.

You can tell by looking at the size of the paws roughly how big she will grow.

I hope this has been of some help.
No matter what breed she is she is definately a stunner.
You picked a good'un.
:]

"True" mixed breed dogs are any dog whose parents are not both the same breed. And mixed breeds are NOT the heartiest against disease. While it is true that a randomly bred dog is less likely to develop health problems than a poorly bred purebred...health is still largely a result of genes. Most diseases don't strike until after a dog is old enough to have reproduced, meaning that these diseases are not removed from the gene pool through natural selection. A mutt is only as healthy as the genes it carries...and if both parents had bad genes then even mutts will inhierit genetic defects and poor health. One of the LEAST healthy dogs I know is a true heinz 57 from the shelter. This poor dog is only five years old and already crippled by two ruptured cruciate ligaments in her rear legs, can't stomach anything but the most bland of diets due to digestive issues, and suffers from a debilitating auto-immune disease. Talk about loosing the genetic lottery! I don't think I have EVER met a purebred with as many health issues as she has. The only dog I know undergoing chemo is also a true heinz 57 and has been diagnosed with a malignant cancer at the tender age of two. Stepping off my soapbox, yes puppy mills sell mixed breed dogs. Sure, any idiot with half a brain knows that any of the "doodle" "breeds" are a mixed breed dog. But then again, idiots with half a brain don't knowingly buy dogs from puppy mills or their brokers either. Not only do they reap huge profits from intentionally mixing poodles with some other breed and slapping a cutesy name on it, but they don't keep accurate records of their supposedly purebred dogs either. I have seen puppy mill dogs that were supposedly "purebred" and had "papers" that were quite clearly mixed (one particular dog that comes to mind was a beagle/dachshund mix) but if you even brought that idea up to the owners they got very defensive about it because they bought the dog as a purebred and they firmly believe that it is.

She's part angel, part snuggle bunny!.... did I get it right?! LOL

Actually, the first picture made me think Rottie X, but the second one points me to Daschund X..... those eyes!!! The other pics show large feet - guess she's gonna have a 'good understanding' huh? I can't get video, (I'm on an old, slow computer with slow connections), so no clues there for me............ hmmmmmmmm.

Just re-read your question - you said not a rottie..... but it's gotta be something larger than the daschund.... maybe in the terrier family (I'm not too familiar with all those varieties)

She's adorable, does she have siblings looking for homes?

First of all, she is cute as all hell.

Secondly, it's a little tough as there are a few options. She could be a rottie mix or some sort of **** hound mix. And I also would not be surprised if she was a lab mix as she walks like a lab puppy.

She is precious & gorgeous! She sure looks part Rottweiler to me. Someone with more breed familiarity can assess her stance, build, etc. and help to fill in the rest of the equation, but my best guess would be maybe part Lab as well.
Have fun, you lucky non-apartment dwellers!!!

My sister has a dog that looks just like yours and hers is Rottweiler- Lab mix. It could also be by looking at the ears a Rottweiler and basset hound mix.

definatly got some Rottie in her, the way she bounds rather than runs, her colouring and the size of her face/paws is a dead give away! Like they are too big for her body, May also have some Labrador in her but its not too clear, she is SOOOOOOOOO cute and snuggly you are too lucky ;p

She is sooooooooooooo cute!!!!
She has got dachshund in her for sure. There is a chance she's been mixed with a larger breed of dog - dachshunds are small but she's got big feet! She's adorable that's for sure :)

She's so adorable!

I would say either:

Rottweiler x Beagle
Rottweiler x Labrador
German Shepherd x Labrador
German Shepherd x Rottweiler
