Well I've got a pretty decent bald spot. I ignored it when it first started getting thin (22 years old) and finally it got bad. I decided that one day I'm gonna shave my noodle instead of trying rogaine or some other such nonsense. Well I'm 30 now and what I've been doing lately is shaving it sorta, I use clippers with no guard on it. It's basically bald but there's a little hair there. Makes my bald spot seem less noticeable I guess. I shaved my head fully once, dude that is not cool. First off it took forever to get ti clean and a day after I did it, I was feeling stubble on there.

Definitely shave it! Sprouts of hair around the side of your head look terrible.
If you do decide to shave your head then I would recommend using the excellent HeadBlade Razor, designed specifically for head shaving.
