Paradise as described or interpreted by men is not paradise, because it is undescribable. Men do not have full knowledge of the physical world; and it is more difficult to understand the spiritual world. Therefore, we can only use our limited mind to learn and learn from the Teachings of the Messengers of the One True God to reach higher and higher levels of understanding, not only for mere knowledge, but for application to build an ever-advancing civilization. It takes millennia for men to reach the digital technology, and we will keep on advancing further into unended future. Nobody can say what it would be in the next millennium, except the belief that discoveries and inventions would be more and more amazing.

The word paradise is used as a synonym for Heaven. What we do know for sure is that there has always been a separation of believers and unbelievers. The righteous have always gone to paradise, the wicked have always gone to Hell (Hades). For right now, both heaven (Paradise) and Hell (Sheol) are “temporary holding places” until the day when Jesus Christ comes back to judge the world based on whether or not they have believed in Him. One day, all will be sent to their eternal destination. The wicked to the lake of fire and the righteous to a new heaven and a new earth.

Paradise is the waiting room to go to Heaven!
When Jesus died on the cross, He really did die. That really is the same as saying that He went to hades, because hades is the realm of the dead. However, while Jesus was dying, He promised to take the thief on the cross into Paradise. So the historic teaching of the Church is that when Jesus went to hades, He established a special waiting room for His own, called Paradise. He preached to the spirits who were already dead and took the Old Testament saints into Paradise also, along with the thief on the cross.

This is bizarre. I just asked that very question today. I got two different answers.
1) When Christ died, like God, he became omnipresent so he was actually in heaven and hell at the same time.
2)When we die, there is no noticeable lapse in time between the time we draw our last breath and the time we come into God's presence. Even though it might be thousands of years, it will seem (to us) like "this day."
I don't know which to believe. Both? Neither? Hmmmm.

Were do you get " Remember that Christ did not go to His Father until three days later."
Christ's spirit left his body that day, just like the thief's, and they were in paradise.
Clarify why you believe Christ did not go to the Father until 3 days later.

Why don't more religions speak about the paradise
I think this is so interesting because I am a person before learning the truth went to many religions. It is relatively the same story everywhere you go to Church, and that is, if your a good person you go to heaven! Technically at most funerals despite how a person has lived they will quote the saying that person has "gone home". "Home Coming for __________". Which means they are gone to heaven to be with the LORD.
Are you aware first of all, people who are dead, are asleep in death. There is no activity. No work or devising in Sheol in which you are about to go, the scripture says. The dead are conscience of nothing at all. ( Eccl. 5:9, Eccl 9:10) Please stop believing that persons who have died are immediately and miraculously in heaven. That is the furthest thing from the truth. Please stop believing persons who are dead are "dead spirits" haunting folks. They are demons, keep in mind they have powers too, it is nothing for them to pretend to be dead loved ones, if they can get you to believe in falsehood they already have your soul. If Satan and his demons can get you to believe the soul lives on after death and never dies...then what real need will you have to hope in the resurrection by means of Christ Jesus? Think about it. At John 5:28,29., speaks of persons being in God's memory. Although they remain asleep in death until Jesus calls them out of their memorial tomb. Like Lazarus.he too was asleep in death to the point that he was smelling, Yet Jesus called his name and brought him back to life. This was simply done on a small scale by Jesus and some of his disciples to build faith, and to show what Jesus will and can do for all mankind in the near future thru Jehovah God's Kingdom on a GRANDER SCALE. He will put an end to all sickness and death...and note he didn't resurrect LAZARUS so he could go to heaven. He resurrect him to be right here on earth, though it was temporarily. So when we see scriptures like these below..KNOW THIS IS MANKIND'S OTHER HOPE. & PROMISES held out in the Bible. Keep in mind, it is IMPOSSIBLE for GOD 2 LIE.
WE HAVE AN EARTHLY HOPE
PS. 37:9,11,29:"Evildoers themselves
will be cut off, but those HOPING IN JEHOVAH
are the ones that will possess the earth...The
MEEK ONES THEMSELVES WILL POSSESS
THE EARTH, and they will indeed find their exquisite
delight in the abundance of peace. The RIGHTEOUS
themselves will POSSESS THE EARTH, and
they will RESIDE FOREVER upon it."
Isa.33:24: " NO RESIDENT will say: "I AM SICK."
Isa 25:8: "He will actually SWALLOW UP DEATH
FOREVER, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will
certainly wipe the tear from all faces."
Isa. 65:21, 25 : "And they will certainly build
houses and HAVE OCCUPANCY, and they will
certainly built vineyards and EAT (their) fruitage."
The wolf and the lamb themselves will feed as
one and the LION WILL EAT STRAW just like the bull;
and as for the serpent, his food will be dust.
They will do NO HARM nor cause any ruin at all.

I believe this is the right answer "When we die, there is no noticeable lapse in time between the time we draw our last breath and the time we come into God's presence. Even though it might be thousands of years, it will seem (to us) like "this day.""
because it is true, and Jesus wasn't in both places at the same time, because when he die, he died as a human and went to hell because that's what all men did (because of the original sin) before he came to earth for the purpose of dying and ultimately getting all the "good" people from hell to heaven... After three days he rose from hell to the heaven now as an almighty god... All this and the other answer together, and there is the ultimate answer I guess ;)... hope I explained myself right

There is not one specific way to realy answer that. but to look in the good book to find out. If you were to ask a philosofer that very same question he might answer: It is a state of mind where our eternal souls want to be some day after it sheds this human husk that it abides for now. To me it means being in the ever lasting arms of my LORD, when i pass from this world. Just think no trials, hurt, dissolutions, crime, pain, fear, and most of all we will be with our loved ones again.

Paradise is the restored earth like in beginning (Adam and Eve's home).
Please take note of the comma in these sentences: (Luke 23:40-43)
‘Truly I tell you, today You will be with me in Paradise.’
‘Truly I tell you today, You will be with me in Paradise.’
One suggest Jesus is saying to the thief that very hour they were talking he will be with Jesus also on that very day. Second says Jesus was telling the thief on that day that he will be with him in paradise but did not say when.
Clearly, as you stated Jesus rose 3 days after, the second sentence is the correct version as Paradise is not yet restored.

Paradise is a place where God is...in his presence ..the bible says there is fullness of joy..
So Jesus had to complete the process till heaven was opened and he took captivity captive...in the meanwhile like all others ...they went to Abrahams bosom...and that was a place of comfort...according to the book of Luke 16:25 Lazarus was in comfort while the rich ma in torment..
while the thief was on the cross he didn't have need for a comforter like the rest...because Jesus was his comforter..the thief was the epitomy of Gods mercy...a man who was not a bible scholar or theologian but somewhere God began to deal with that man so that he would believe on Jesus..a magnificent account
Remember to be seperate from God is hell..and the bible calls that death...in Revelations in judgement day it is the second death...
While we are here and alive and have opportunity to receive Jesus ...we have opportunity to be born again...why? because we are dead in trespasses and sin..and seperated from God..
So to be in his presence ..is Paradise..God bless
