Right handedness tends to be dominant, but it varies. Both my parents are left handed, yet I'm right handed. I have two or three siblings that are left handed. Their father is right handed. It's puzzling, but interesting. It's probably around an 80/20 chance of the baby being a lefty. Congrats!

My aunt is left handed and my husbands Gran is also. Everyone else in our families are right handed, yet 2 out of our 3 sons so far are left handed. Dont know about the 3rd yet as he is only 7 months old. Really strange!!!

Whatever your baby chooses and is most comfortable with.. My daughter was left handed for the first few months she started writing and drawing and then by 2 yrs. she traded to the right hand.. I'm right handed and my husband is left handed.

ur baby will probly be right handed cause it seems to me the right handed runs in both families more but u will have to give ur bay a pencil or crayon and just see what hand they try to use better they normally will pick the object up with the hand that they are going to use the most but ur baby could also be both it could use both right hand or left hand well congrats and good luck

I am right handed,so is my husband, and all our parents and grandparents, and all our nieces and nephews, but our 3 children are all left handed.I am assuming that the odds on your baby being either left handed or right handed is 50-50.
