I know I should give everyone equal opportunity(They are all individuals)but it is easier said then done. (I'm 34 & he is 24. If this even matters.)We are very good friends. He's been there though a break-up I went through & I 've been there through a break-up he went through.

Remember everyone is unique. Do not try to compere your new friend to your older friend. Hope he will be a different guy, test him, give him a chance, try him and then arraive at the judgement.

your 34. he's 24.

you can't possibly have anything in common other than you probably used to baby sit him.

oh i know..he's mature for his age.

looooool.

come on now. not saying you shouldn't give him a chance. but you should be thinking this through a bit more. i have a feeling this has nothing to do with past relations. i believe you see my point

the age.

but hey do what you want. its your life. can't really see what two people 10 years apart can have in common..but hey if you can-then please go make yourself happy. you deserve it.

Age doesn't matter if he is mature for his age - take it real slow you both need to learn to trust again - but also be careful that this relationship is not forming just because you are both vulnerable - sometimes it is best to just remain friends and then maybe in the future it can become more

If you are getting serious, tell him you want to take it slow and make sure the relationship is not a rebound romance.
