Look up consumer info on each... Some of them work and some don't.
They usually have fine print that lists exactly what is contained. Most contain almost no Pheromones and so do not work. If you purchase one with a higher concentration then yes they are proven to make you more attractive to the opposite sex.

Tests have shown that women naturally go for the pheremones of men who are dissimilar from themselves- for improvement of their offspring's gene pool and immune system. A single pheremone is unlikely to work across the board I don't think.

No, because there are too many other factors which come into play - like social expectations, your charm, how attentive you are and so on.
I would just try being nice and not waste your money on alchemy.
