My boy friend moved away a few weeks ago and now we don't speak as much as always. I've been getting very sick since he's gone and my one friend said its cause I miss my boy friend so much. Is that really possible?

Yes cutie, it is... It is happening to me so believe me I know... It is not something physical, it is completely mental. A broken heart causes you distress, which your mind interprets as you being sick... This causes your body to experience many symptoms due to this stress... These symptoms are caused to a form of depression many people experience during a heartbrake and, depending on how sensitive one is, they may include anorexia, fatigue, fever, headache, migraine, dizziness, nausea and many more. Also, a depressed state causes your organism to lower its defences and you are more likely to go down with the flue or another virus...
And as I said, it is happening to me now.... All the luck in the world is what I wish to you... And I hope you get better soon...

Yes it is possible...

It can be a mild depression which is an illness. In some cases depression weakens the immune system which in term makes the person get sick easier and more often than normal.

To tell you the truth you can. I mean being sick sometimes is A mental thing mand it's possible to actually feel the symptoms of being sick. I mean everytime me and my boyfriend get in to a fight where i think its about to be over. I get really sick because i have those symptoms in my mind. That plays into people who actually feel pain when someone breaks up with them.
