If Jim-Bob-Joe has a little sister, and Jim-Bob-Joe's girlfriend Mary-Anne has a little brother, would it be weird for the brother and sister to go out with each other even though their siblings are going out also?

Sounds a bit Greek (a part from the names you use).
It might get weird if one of the relationships doesn't last and the other does. But it could also be fun. If Mary-Anne and her sister Bobby-Carol are close and Jim-Bob-Joe and Joe-Bob-Jim also - they can go on double dates and share horror stories about their in-laws.

This happened with my parents, two brothers married two sisters. Then when my kids grew my son and daughter went out with another couple's son and daughter.l My son is now married and my daughter lasted 3 years but has now moved on.

My daughter used to think it was weird 'cos all knew everything that was going on between eachother!

Two of my brothers married these 2 sisters so it's not necessarily weird.

It sounds very insular, and really wierd. I'm sorry if offends anyone but I couldn't stand so many relationships going on in such a small circle, very claustrophobic, and the whole thing would come down like a house of cards at any time.

It may seem weird, but it would be fine. There is blood connection between you and your girlfriend, meaning that it is possible that a sibling of yours may go out with a sibling of your girlfriends.

There's nothing wrong with it. But it could cause problems if one of the couples split up - it may create tension between the 2 still together.

It is not weird at all. However, if one of the couples fall out while the other one is still going strong, there might be a bit of uneasiness.
