Well christians are usually socially conservative but liberal christians do exist. They take more of a libertarian philosophy rather than condone others values.

It's because the liberal Christians are too busy following Jesus' teachings to waste time pontificating about how other people should live their lives. (Jesus wasn't all that fond of self righteous types).

Of course. I had some councelors when I went through chrstian phase were very liberal hippe types and very christian.

There are plenty who call me "liberal." I'm also a Christian -- and, for what it's worth, I think Christianity is a liberal path.
