Unless you have some sort of military related disability there are no benefits monetarily. There are of course benefits such as low cost VA loans,,job assistance and a few others. Now with that being said i would like to know where in the military you have been in order for you not to know this already?. my suggestion to you Paul is if you are in the service and you have 15 years, stay in and finish. this is a web site for more info.http://www.militarybenefits.com/

I hope you at least got your degree. If not you wasted 15 years. You don't get a check or nothing for that. You might as well tough it out for 5 more.

in order to receive a pension.. you gotta do your twenty. you would still retain all other VA bennies like the GI Bill, home loans and the like. not sure about medical, though.. you may have to do the full twenty, or be medically retired in order to retain them.
