First, one has to decide what a Christian is. Christians cannot even agree with one another.
For Catholics: Do you really think the Pope speaks directly to God? If not, can you call yourself Catholic? Do Catholics really think that they are drinking the blood of Christ? If not, how can you be Catholic.
For Protestants: Do you really think the Bible is the word of God?

Basically, where does one draw the line between logic and faith? If I had asked these questions to Christians 400 years ago, there wouldn't be a doubt in their minds. Nowadays, people are much more educated. I just cannot comprehend how an educated and itellectual person can believe these things. If you don't believe some of these things, but still consider yourself a Christian, how can you justify that?

Galileo drew the line perfectly:

"The Bible tells us how to get to heaven, not how the heavens work."

And heaven knows why this is a problem for everyone else who claim otherwise.

Firstly in trying to establish the truth you have to go back to what the Bible says because that is the only truth that we have and can use to measure against any religious claim. There are so many topics on which christians do not agree on but that does not make the Bible of non-effect. Go back to the Bible and find what it says
1Sa 3:21 And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
God is in His word and not in some church or organisation.
You cannot really draw a line between logic and faith as these two exists in two different dimensions. Faith is the substance of things not seen, the evidence of things hoped for. Already logic is left right here at the very definition of faith. Education is good but many times it has stood in the way as people try to reason out God. You cannot do that with our finite mind.

As a protestant, I do believe the Bible contains the written Word of God. And there is nothing in it that I don't believe. So, I can justify being a Christian. I spend a lot of time here at Yahoo Answers and it only reinforces my belief in Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul taught that preaching about a crucified Savior would be foolishness to those who are perishing; but it would be salvation for those who are not perishing. So, it is logical to me. Because everything that was taught has come true. Unsaved people believe that Christianity is foolishness. Saved people rest easy knowing they have eternal life because they have believed the record God left concerning His Son. That's the way I understand it anyway. Peace.

I am a Christian Scientist. Christian Science is logical because it is based on fixed laws, spiritual laws, found in the Bible. The textbook of Christian Science, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy teaches how to apply these universal laws to our everyday lives. It is not based on blind belief. A simple illustration is, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy," a spiritual law from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. It is a law of cause and effect, which can be applied and demonstrated. When appliedt makes for harmony between people, peace of mind, and in some cases relief from physical symptoms.

Faith based on accurate knowledge is a strong chain that binds man to God. Yet, as with any chain, it is only as strong as its weakest link. Therefore it is good to examine our faith, to test it, to see if it can hold up under stress or if it needs to be reinforced. Our faith in Jehovah God is built upon a solid foundation, the inspired record of the Bible.

True faith is far different from mere credulity or blind superstition. Faith does not mean believing in something just because others do. Faith is not governed by emotion or sentiments, nor is it held for selfish, personal reasons. Faith has as its groundwork logic, facts, reason and truth. It is based on a knowledge of God and his purposes, of the reason for the ransom and of the result of it.

I am not Catholic anymore and I don't believe God speaks directly to the Pope, God speaks to US through the bible...

All I can say is that everyday, more and more scientific facts are being found to back up Biblical truth and facts. Science (what we see) is proving the Bible more accurately correct as time goes on.

As far as Christians go, I don't support a "religion"...I support the one on one relationship that a person has with God and following the Bible. Too often people get caught up in the "which religion is right" mode.

No. You won't get an answer for that.
Why? Because eventhough you put it as a question.
You yourself already choose a side. Deep in your conscious you already choose to be skeptical about Christianity. Then I can assume that your question or sentence, not even needed an answer. I can Guarantee you wont find any answer at all.

So why you keep shouting that you need a prove? With your mindset, I can only tell, you won't find what you seek. BEcause, Eventhough you witnessing with your own eyes miraculously of Moses lead 3milion Israelites pass of Red Sea, You still won't believe in it.

WHY?
Answer yourself if you're smart.

Oh yes, you're smart... you're highly educated... you're super geniuses.. your'e super intelligence being...

If you are like what you think,..

then I challenge you to find out more seriously about Christianity, with a open mindset. Put aside your critical view, and start to find out what is this thing that most of Christian said about FAITH.

Science is merely the HOW of what God created.

Being a born again Christian is simple: its about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. So all the "legalities" and all the arguments become null and void then, because to God, its whats in the heart that counts, and nothing else.

I KNOW there is a God because I have a relationship with Him, so when someone says there is no God, I think they are foolish, because its like telling me my mother does not exist, when I know very well that she does. Same with God. I KNOW Him.

What can be more uncomplicated?

Where do we draw the line between logic and Faith...

I am a Christian, but more than that I am a son of GOD.
I believe my Father, and His Word.
For me my Faith IS Logic, for I have seen miracles and wonders, so there is no denying in His Word.

If you have never seen anything to convince yourself, ask this: Do you really want to see the Truth, for once you know the Truth you cannot walk away from it, cannot deny it and cannot forget it.

Which laws of science goes against Christian beliefs? Can you prove that the Bible is not the word of God?The Blood of Christ is representative and is done in memory of Jesus. As for agreeing with another ;I fail to see how that has anything to do with advances in science.
