Hi. I am a 19 year old college student and have been talking to this girl for about a whole semester now. She is 21 years old and also goes to the same school as me. We've become very good friends and are always around each other. We've gone out together many times and all the time and she knows and enjoys all of my friends. The thing is that I would like to start a romantic relationship with her but everytime I try it goes nowhere. She has alot of guy friends but from my experience she spends most of her time with me. I've asked her a couple of times to start something, but it ends with a quick "no" and then we act normal again. I know she doesnt hate me because we are still always around each other but everytime I try to start something romantically it doesnt go through. What should I do next to get her? What am I doing wrong? Would it be wierd to ask her on an official date even though we've gone out together all the time?

Well, it seems that she may not be interested right now may be because you are younger than her. She may like this relationship but there is some reason for her as she says no when you are trying to tell her. So you should ask her why directly. If it is not this reason, you have to give her some time before asking her again. Because she really need this space to know you better before starting a relationship. You have to be in a way to be known better by her. After that you can ask her again. If she says no this time, then she has no other feelings than a friendship that you are in now.

In my experience... you shouldn't be in a hurry to get involve with anyone right now. You are still young and have alot of time to enjoy in life. You need to be serious about school than getting serious about having relationship with this girl if she's not ready yet then wait for her to do the move on you. Believe me, you will say I was right. I think the reason why she's acting like that because she is scared maybe you don't even know that she also like you. Once in awhile you let her make the move and then take it slow until you know you can get her to say yes.

man she is elder to you by 2 years and all the time it looks as if she is just playing with you like a little boy and thats the reason she simply avoids your responses. Hence it is better you see a younger girl for your own good.

I think she knows you are not ready yet. Continue with what you have if its working. You both might feel differently next quarter.A good friend and good company is hard to find. Move too fast you might loose both.

Thats tough.Maybe she doesn't want to hurt your feelings so she going places with you. My guess is thats shes seeing someone behind your back. Or something kinda like it.
