ot only christianity is fixed on heaven but also Islam & Judaism talks about heaven after death. Even hinduism talks of next birth. ALmost 60 - 70% of the total world believes in the life after death. Christianity say 3 equals 1. Islam says Accept God & follow his messenger, you will go to heaven. How can u escape existence when already u are here. Suicide is the only way. When any religion says something it should be understood by even a foolish person. Otherwise no use of that religion if only few can understand it. Who knows the Best Way of life? Only the Creator who sent us to this world. We should follow only that path sent as Guidance by the Almighty God.

Escaping from existance.

Because until we have desires we will suffer. When we go to heaven we will have desires.Remember everything in this world and universe will not exist forever, everything ends someday,
The life in the heaven will end someday and we will suffer onceagain.
This goes like a cycle.
Lord Buddha has shown the way to escape from this life cycle.

Nothing beats Heaven. It is not perfect, its beyond perfect. There aint no word in the vocabulary you can use to describe heaven. That's why I would rather have Jesus than to be the King of a vast domain.

your question already implies an idea what 'not existance' is. therefore it is dualistic. the world, reality ot whatever finally is non-dualistic. thats the place where we are, you can't escape it, regardless if we call life existance and dead non-existance... from a buddhist point of view your question could only be answered with something that looks from a dualistc point of view pretty stupid like: show me your not-existent mind!

i think hell is even as someone is carefully separated from God. Do i imagine its like a huge fiery inferno with devil jabbing ppl with a pitchfork? No. i don't believe in limbo or purgatory, yet i don't believe of we visit heaven or hell accurate this second when we die. i think that on account that God stated he might want to choose each person on in the destiny, we wont be judged till then.
