Prof. Lee says "Mankind did not write the Bible, some people were moved by the Holy Spirit did that. "
re-read what you wrote... Mankind... people. Are they not the same thing?
If i read the last part of your sentence "some people were moved by the Holy Spirit did that." you are confirming that mankind did in fact write the bible.

Thank you to Ana, i must conclude on this... that being a "Prophet" is "One of the symptoms of schizoid delusional mental disorder"
Thanks to everyone for their answers, we can now all rest in the knowledge that there is no "god" as described by the bible; and that the bible was in fact written, edited, produced and disptributed mankind alone with no intervention from any supernatural "gods" whatsoever. Case closed.

One of the symptoms of schizoid delusional mental disorder is the affirmation of illogical and impossible facts. Pretending that dreams , tales and legends are true etc...

Mankind did not write the Bible, some people were moved by the Holy Spirit did that. Thank God for that. If God had used very learned scientists only to write the Bible, only people with PhD's will be able to understand it, and be saved. The Holy Spirit controlled or moved the hearts of those simple people but did not control every word they wrote. God allowed the simplicity of the human language of the writers so that even little children can understand it and be saved. Somebody accurately described the Bible as a ocean that is so shallow that even little children can safely wade in it, but it is so deep that an elephant can swim in it without touching the bottom.
When I graduated from the Theological College forty five years ago, I though I know almost everything that could be known about the Bible. But now the more I studied the Bible the more I realized that there are much, much more that I don't know, and that I will need eternity to know everything about the science of Salvation and about God. No wonder when we arrive in heaven later, we will exclaim, I haven't heard even a half of it!
1 Corinthians 1:27 says: But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
There was a woman who had only 3 years of primary education, but she had written more than 60 books, among others "Education", "Fundamentals of Christian Education", "Ministry of Healing", "Counsels to Nutrition, Diet and Food", "Counsels To Parents and Teachers" etc. which are being used as text books in over 200 hospitals, among other the Loma Linda Sanitarium and Hospital, and over five thousands schools from Primary School to Universities around the globe.
Incredible? Very much so! According to human logic, this thing is impossible, but with God there is nothing impossible.

No Christians claim otherwise. Only if they are not informed. The Old Testament was written by prophets. For example the Genesis was written by Moses. The New Testament was written by the Evangelists and other Apostles (The Gospel according to John, for example).
An atheist who asks Christians such questions is just as informed as the average Christian. An average Christian doesn't study theology thorougly, he believes

It is inspired of God.
A secretary writes letters for his boss, but in truth it is the boss speaking in the letter...he proves it by signing it. The bible is the same in this sense, though it is written by men...they did not write it on their own...
“Prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.” (2Â Peter 1:21)

i think its easy for them to hold up this book and justify their believes .the truth is the bible clearly states at the begging of almost all chapters that these are stories told to them by god or that they witnessed god do something all it boils down to is do unto others as u would have done to you .

Well it's clear to you, and to me at least.
It isn't clear to them at all. that is why gentle repetition of the truth is needed.
