I live in Japan and Japanese people tell me that the "job description" of ninjas was spy/assassin/saboteur as opposed to the "mystical fighter" image we have in the west.
It's true that, as spies, they utilised many tricks (tricks which may *appear* to be magic), but they are easily explained:
APPEARING/DISAPPEARING IN CLOUDS OF SMOKE: Throw a smoke bomb and then approach/run away. This trick is still very much alive in Hollywood films!
WALKING THROUGH WALLS: I've been to some "ninja houses" in Japan and they have rotating wall panels which allow the ninjas to perform this trick. Visitors can even try this trick!
GRAVITY DEFYING JUMPS/CLIMBS: Very fast and efficient use of ropes.
The ninjas themselves didn't term these tricks "magic" and so the answer to your question is "no they didn't".

yes ninja's do use magic they gather it from yhe IKela Mountains in Mongolia, it takes one ninja 14 days to treak into these mountains and when they get the magic they bring it back to there dojo so tht everyone has a taste of the power that lies within it, to use this magic they need to amputate one of there 17 fingers and crush it with the magic. I have seen this on national geographic it's cool is'nt it

No dude, they don't uses ANY magic, all they really use is misdirection and their fighting techniques.
the things you see on Naruto and other Anime of the sort only use a small (very small) part of things that are real, and bend it to make the story look good for the viewer. and they Make up the rest to further push the story along.

Ninja don't use "magic" per se. They do a lot of illusions designed to look like magic. However, most Ninja do have incredible power of the mind and are actually able to influence the minds of other people around them, enhancing the observers' view of the illusion and further enhancing the illusion.

They do use the same skills that a stage illusionists might, those of misdirection, sleight of hand, distraction things along thos elines, so from that point of view they do. More science than supernatural

Not magic......Just trickery!!
Ninjas are masters of physiology
Ninjas would have you believe they don't exist, that would suit them just fine with no reprisals whatsoever

Yes, I imagine that they do.
If one is LARPing* anyway by playing ninja, it isn't that far of a stretch to see this as the type of person that would run around playing with occult based trading cards.
