The atoms of my body, having been formed in the heart of giant and now dead stars millions of years ago, have probably been recycled a few times over since 607 - inside the body of a beetle, bacteria burrowing through soil, the bark of a tree, the tip of a dog's hair. They only exist together in me at this moment, and they are constantly being shed and recycled themselves. As for my conscious "me", there was no possible sense of it, as there was not for anyone. That is how it will be after I die - the atoms will disperse, and the mind will blink into oblivion just like before I was born. That's why atheism makes sense.

to be born again doesn't mean you'll be born in the same place over and over again.
