It is futile to try to find common sense in ancient middle eastern books of tales and legends like the Bible or the Koran.
They are work of fiction, fairy tales written for the enjoyment of the readers.
How much common sense can one find in Peter Pan ? The tale is more recent, the answer is the same.
Ramen !

I'm a Christian, and the Christian faith has it's fair share of people without common sense, and they don't let God do his job. Ever read the Quran? Don't knock it till you read it, it's good reading. 90% of the Christians believe in the doctrine of the Trinity, but as a well read Christian of the bible, I've come to the conclusion, that it's a lie made up by the self proclaimed "Holy Roman Church" back in the days of Empiror Constantine.
So, don't pick on Muslims, there are plenty of Christians who don't read the bible, or don't fully understand it either.

First improve your English then ask an appropriate question and give some example like what are the Islamic things you think are not appropriate with modern world?
One more thing that book is not Muhammad's book. That book belongs to God.

I feel the Quran is in agreement with common sense.. It not only is a religious book. It sets out morally sound guidelines in everyday life.. It tells you how to conduct yourself in business, family life, community, how to hold your money, how to share, how to deal with others, how to morally conduct yourself in life etc.. That to me all is common sense.. It also describes a bit about scientific ideals that were only theory up to now in the western world, but already spelled out in the Quran (1400years ago)... that today scientists are coming to realize.. amazing to me that us Muslims knew all along what modern science is only just now coming to understand.. Common sense to me.. yep!

Quran is full of rules which actually are for the people using common sense.
These rules are for keeping life safe, family firm and human apart from the sin. If everybody follows them we could have happy and peacefull life in this world

It depends, if you are well versed in the Qu'ran and then explanation then yes your common sense will be that of God has revealed.
While if you don't know about the Holy Book, then your common sense is much lower, only that which God has allowed you to attain biologically.
