I'm lonely too, that's why I'm on here @ 5am ET. Here's something to read.

hey!!! loneliness is truely fatal coz it affects your mental capacity to think of what is right and wrong its side effects are you'll be mentally reterded,it loses your self confidence on a particular situation especially in dealling with the people that surrounds you....loneliness can bring you nothing good in your life.....if your lonely theres a possibility of youre early aging.....it may even causes death coz it losses your appatite..... depression will occure next....!!!!!

Not at all.
if you try to smile to everyone, and be postive with everyone, i am sure you will not feel lonely.
to trust on someone can dissolve the loneliness, and it takes time to build friendship and family relationship too.
you can enjoy the alone time, and not feeling lonely. read some books!!

I think so. I've heard of animals losing their partners and dying shortly after. Me and my sis used to have a couple of pet lizards, and a year later one died, and a few days later, so did the other. Years and years ago I heard about a couple of polar bears kept in a zoo, a male & female, who died days apart, and the 2nd one to die had no illness to explain the cause.

yes, loneliness is a form of stress,,, stress causes cancer,, cancer, if not cured, causes death,, therefore, loneliness is definitely fatal!

yes it can effect you emotionely but it wont kill you,
just make ya misarable i am alone in this world and know what it feels like but I deal withit good luck

if a couple are married for a long time, and one dies, the other might pass sooner than expected. it wears on the heart.

not directly, but it can lead to serious emotional problems, and who knows where that will lead.
