i have naturally thick dark brown hair wich in brighht light has some red undertones.

i dyed my hair with a permanent purple colour and used extra bleach (as recommended by a beauty store assistant) but its more red / copper than purple.

is it a good idea to buy the same dye and do it over again? its been about 10 days since i dyed it.
and i d much rather avoid going to a hairdresser.

Wait 10 more days. Condition your hair a lot. I'd advise against using the same dye over, but I do think it would be a better suggestion to ask a beauty store assistant how you should achieve what you want, also tell them what you did and what the results were.

I would wait longer than 10 days before doing anything!

And maybe look for a different brand with a color better for your hair color!

And I wouldn't bleach it too often!

try drabbing it. drabber is a product that removes red tones. find it at any good size beauty supply store. you might have to do the actual purple rinse again but try not to process it too much

There is possibility you might damage your hair by repeating the procedure rather than achieving purple color.
