Find an exercise or sport you would like to achieve certain goals in. For instance, biking is a wonderful sport. You could bike with a friend or group of friends and make weekend trips as a venture. Also swimming is probably the most complete exercise you can get. Stay in the pool for 30 minutes to an hour every other day, and you'll see a quick difference. Or you try different exercises on opposite days. It's OK to rest a day in between, or you can do some light walking.
Being a veggie is fine, but sorry limit the chocolate. I'm a chocolate-lover, too, but I only eat it as a reward once a month. If I lose over 10 lbs a week, I reward myself with a Snicker bar. If you are serious about losing, lay off the chocolate.
For breakfast, eat 2 eggs, wheat toast with a single slab of butter, 1% fat milk, and OJ. For lunch, stay away from the school lunches and pack your own healthy lunch. Too bad you don't eat fish or tuna. Try eating more fruit in your diet. For dinner, have a veggie soup or a casserole of some kind with wheat bread/roll, iced tea or water. Drink lots of water all day long.
Before you hit the books to do homework, take a bike ride around the block several times. You'll be surprised how much energy you'll gain by doing this.

145 is a good number!!! I'm 18 5'8 and i'm almost 180lbs! be happy =) lol- the best thing to do is learn to control yourself. You only have the will power. If you want to lose weight do it for yourself! That's what I did. Until recently, I went from 150 to 180 because stress got to me with college, so I gained over 30lbs o.O

Snacks are sushi, popcorn and apple slices with PB on' em...Dark Chocolate is actually GOOD for you in reg doses-melt some and pour it onto apple and pear slices!Soups are great too-not the canned crap but stuff you make yourself with some low-fat broth-throw in a bunch of fresh veggies and have a nice baguette slice with it....Enjoy!

you are fine, but if you really want to lose weight, dont eat chocolates definetily. and stick to healthy stuff.
also buy an aerobics dvd, even 30 mins a day helps alot, and its fairly easy.
