Caffeine gets credit for some of coffee's magic powers, including protection against Parkinson's disease and gallstones. But coffee's main benefit comes from it's wealth of antioxidants. Anything that is over-consumed are bad for you.
Therefore, the key is to keep in moderation. Coffee has some health benefits and it may prevent some type of cancer or disease. It is also a quick fix for sleeplessness & may speed your metabolism a little.
Make sure you drink 6-8 glasses of water per day to keep you hydrated, as unfortunately coffee dehydrates the fluids in your body.
Also, pregnant women are not recommended to drink more than 1-2 cups per day
