good point and I think it's because they are extremely dishonest and that they are placing themselves in the most convenient circumstances to take over after they reach a desired advantage.

Muslims can't and won't change one word of the Quran. We keep telling you that the Quran was revealed over 23 years, every verse coming down according to the specific situation of the time. All the parts that deal with warfare were revealed when Islam was in its early beginning and the dominant pagans were determined to annihilate them, so those verses need to be taken in context. There is plenty of historical evidence that shows that when Islam was at its golden age that Islam is a tolerant religion. So NO we will not change one word like others have.

verses relating to fighting or "killing" refer to those who aggressed against Muslims and mostly [especially in Chapters 8&9 of the Quran] refer to idolatrous Arabs who committed "war crimes" against Muslims.

NOWHERE DOES ISLAM ENJOIN THE KILLING OF INNOCENTS.. The Quran says: "Fight in the cause of God against those who fight you, but do not transgress limits. God does not love transgressors." (Quran 2:190) "If they seek peace, then seek you peace. And trust in God for He is the One that heareth and knoweth all things." (Quran 8:61) War, therefore, is the last resort, and is subject to the rigorous conditions laid down by the sacred law.

According to the Quran, "There is no compulsion in religion" (2:256), thus, no one can be forced to become a Muslim

If you actually had any knowledge of the Qu'ran you would know better. Changing the Qu'ran is not possible, any person who tries will be a dweller of the fire, there are already sects who change the interpretation.

[010:034] Say: "Is there of your (God's so-called) partners one that originates the creation and then repeats it?" Say: "God originates the creation and then He repeats it. Then how are you deluded away (from the truth)?"

[010:035] Say: "Is there of your (God's so-called) partners one that guides to the truth?" Say: "It is God Who guides to the truth. Is then He Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided? Then, what is the matter with you? How judge you?"

[010:036] And most of them follow nothing but conjecture. Certainly, conjecture can be of no avail against the truth. Surely, God is All-Knower of what they do.

[010:037] And this Qur'ân is not such as could ever be produced by other than God (Lord of the heavens and the earth), but it is a confirmation of (the Revelation) which was before it [i.e. the Taurât (Torah), and the Injîl (Gospel)], and a full explanation of the Book (i.e. the laws decreed for mankind) – wherein there is no doubt – from the Lord of the 'Âlamîn (mankind, jinn, and all that exists).

[010:038] Or do they say: "He (Muhammad [Peace Be Upon Him]) has forged it?" Say: "Bring then a Sûrah (chapter) like it, and call upon whomsoever you can besides God, if you are truthful!"

[010:039] Nay, they have denied the knowledge whereof they could not comprehend and what has not yet been fulfilled (i.e. their punishment). Thus those before them did deny. Then see what was the end of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong doers)!

[010:040] And of them there are some who believe therein; and of them there are some who believe not therein, and your Lord is the Best Knower of the Mufsidûn (evildoers and liars).

[010:041] And if they deny you, say: "For me are my deeds and for you are your deeds! You are innocent of what I do, and I am innocent of what you do!"

[010:042] And among them are some who listen to you, but can you make the deaf to hear – even though they apprehend not?

(V.10:37) Narrated Abu Hurairah [May God be Pleased with Him]: The Prophet [Peace Be Upon Him] said, "There was no Prophet among the Prophets but was given miracles because of which people had security or had belief, but what I have been given is the Divine Revelation which God has revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will be more than those of any other Prophet on the Day of Resurrection." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 9/7274 (O.P.379)]

I personally think most Islamic people are NOT against violent slayings. They basically think the west is the root cause of all evil, i dispute this, it's basically because we have more then them and above all we have something called FREEDOM. They can't stand the fact we live life to ENJOY. I came out of the US Army in January last year, after completing two tours in Iraq. My opinion is based on the attitude I saw there.

And on a separate issue, I dont agree with anyone re writting the Quran or the Bible, that is history and they do say you can't re write history, be it right or wrong you can't re write it to suit the current present day!

The constant anti-Semitic, anti-Christian hate from extremists has caused many to develop a negative opinion of Islam. It is not about Islam as a religion. It is about the military and political agendas of certain countries. It is about institutionalized forms of hate and the indoctrination of young people and the uneducated masses into it by means of propaganda, government policy, information systems, media, education, community leaders and other means.

The errorneous and ridiculous Q'uran cannot be altered. That's the good part, cos that way you can continue to trash it and they can't do anything about it.

But the bad thing is, the muslims will continue to be encouraged to commit terrorism. Its only a question of "WHEN" in their lives.

There is a website that tells about how they cut into a child's head and the child goes through pain and bleeds alot, to give some kind of sacrifice. I will probably get reported for this, but I am not too concerned about that, as I did not put out this website. I only pray the Muslims out there will take a second look at what they are doing to themselves.

But you have violent saying against Christians in the bible, and still you don't call for Christians to call for their removal.

Maryam, what exactly does the world media have to do with your brother being violent? Does the world media tell him to kill Jews, or does the quran?
