How would they find that out?
The only alternative is the atheist point of view...that there is a complete loss of conciousness (as if fast asleep with no dreams)...you would not be aware of your existance or anything for that matter.

when you die, come back and let me know......if you were an atheist and you die, what if there is a God? if you die and there is no God, you have not lost anything....but what if there is a God, you are in big trouble...... i believe it is better to believe there is a God, just in case, don't you think?

I find atheism a much more egalitarian trend of thought than this medieval Christianity fairy tale..

You wouldn't ever find out. There would just be blackness. You wouldn't see the blackness and be like "Oh shoot I was wrong". There'd be nothing, no realization of right or wrong.
