honestly the time period "Wipe Israel off the map" become by no ability used. Shouldnt a better pray be for the people of Iran? People who have to live under tyranny of a government that will be the ones who order for the release of the attack. Shouldnt you pray for peace in all nations and not just for the protection of Israel? I think since God loves everyone then he is not going to favor one group of people over another to protect. And just because in the old testment it says Israel is the "chosen" nation that the people of Iran should be left out in the cold from the blessings of God.

I think the situation has devolved into more of a political nightmare than a religious fiasco. If you really want to make a difference, try taking real action rather than twiddling your thumbs towards a god who supposedly has chosen both those groups of people to be "his" peeps. Ahh, the wonders of man-made religion will never cease to amaze me.

I certainly will pray for Israel and its people, plus I'll pray for the USA and its people to live in peace. Muslims hate Jews for two reasons: the first is because they feel that Israel is theirs and they want it back. Next, the Qu'ran says that Jews (as well as Christians) are people not be trusted. They will contaminate a Muslim so a Muslim is not supposed to interact with them. For reference read the section on JIHAD.
