If they did, shouldn't their decedents receive royalites whenever these product is being used or marketed to the masses? Fair is fair, they should also get a cut on viagra or cilais usage as well. If the Indians got casinos then the Sodomites should get brothels. Fair is fair!!!!

Sodomy was named after the inhabitants of Sodom. So they must have been guilty of it.
From the Bible, Lot was a resident of Sodom. Two angels were sent to warn him to leave the city. He respected them so much that when the crowd asked for the two men [ angels] to be sent out...so they could have 'relations' with them, Lot refused but offered his daughters instead. That was a tremendous sacrifice. But the crowd refused the daughters, because their 'sexual appetites' were so warped.
Then the angels blinded them all.
And lot and his family finally left the city which shortly afterwards was destroyed totally. Not even todasy is its exact location known. It is estimated to somewhere UNDER the southern section of the Dead [SALT] Sea.

it was simply a case that people read the bible, and associate the sodomy activity with Sodom, so it became the word Sodomy
it could have easily been gomorrary instead of sodomy
