Many people do.....
I think the reason for the smell is from the tiny white partcles in it. You will see them when you strain a beaten egg. I am a chef, I use the strainer before using them for making Cakes.

I used to have the same problem, then someone told me to put the eggs in the freezer overnight and then microwave them in the shell the next day for breakfast. No more stink!

I hate the smell of boiled eggs. I think their odor is stronger than when you fry one, but maybe that's just my imagination.

a good many people cannot stand the smell ,they had better keep away,but for the rest of us who don't mind,we enjoy our eggs in oh so many forms.

but sometimes OK
but i believe it generally smells awful when it is not hot or (omelet)
