Quite a question.
The truth to this lies in what specific type of wood chuck are you asking about.
The East Egyptian Wood Chuck is a smaller version of its close cousin the Fire-breathing Cambodian Wood Chuck. Regardless of size, however, the wood chucking ability of the two species does not vary greatly. Both versions are capable of chucking approximately 9/82 of a lb. of wood (hardwood, of course) per minute.
On the contrary, if you are speaking of the American native Manchurian Dynasty Squatting Wood Chuck, its wood chucking abilities greatly depend on the temperature of the surface it is chucking on. In temperatures lower than 48.5 degrees Fahrenheit, the average MDS wood chuck can chuck approximately 63% of its body weight an hour. For the sake of the of you who do not know what the average weight of a MDS wood chuck is, think of a platypus that has just eaten a newborn Texan Turducken.
Hope this cleared everything up.

I know two men, one is named Chuck Wood, and the other is named Wood Chuck.
They heard about the wood chuck riddle and they wanted to know if a wood chuck would chuck wood, and if so how much wood would it chuck.. so, Chuck Wood and Wood Chuck went to the woods and found a wood chuck, just as they though they would. They waited in the woods for it to chuck wood. They figured that as the wood chuck chucked wood, Wood Chuck would check how much was chucked by the wood chuck and Chuck Wood would write down how much wood was chucked by the wood chuck. But as Chuck Wood and Wood Chuck sat in the woods waiting for the wood chuck to chuck wood, the wood chuck would not chuck wood, and nothing Chuck Wood and Wood Chuck would do would make the wood chuck chuck wood, not even chucking wood at the wood chuck. So Chuck Wood and Wood Chuck chucked the idea, left the woods and the wood chuck, and went home.
Now read that real fast..
