The best thing to do may be to have her curl up with you and you can gently hold her feet down so she won't scratch.
If you have small mittens at home you may be able to put them on her feet and secure them with a hair scrunchie, but most dogs will continue to scratch unless you are holding and petting them.
Getting the stitches is itchy and it will get better as soon as you get that collar.
If you have some antibiotic ointment, like bacitracin, cover the ears and stitches, it will help soothe the sensation for her.
Good luck, I hope you both get some rest!

It's been awhile since you wrote this and I was wondering if you're back from the vet? I'm sure your dog is fine. They all try to scratch their ears after cropping. I know you are probably a little stressed, but it'll all work out in the end. Your baby will forget this just like a female human gets over her pain during child birth. Your girl will look beautiful!!!!

You can make an Elizabethan collar yourself. Here is a link to show you how to make your own collar. Be sure too, to follow the instructions the vet gave you on cleaning the ears and changing the dressings (if any) on the ears.

certified vet tech . umm did you not get an E collar . that is round cone shapes object that goes around that neck and the cone shape covers the head area . go to petsmart and buy one . she will hate it but it will keep her from getting those stiches . or go to you vet and buy one as well. you not want her scratching at them or opening the stitches for the fear of infection , keep that area clean since it is prone to infection.

Cone collar! I'm surprised the vet didn't put one on!
That's odd, after surgery.

You should have been prepared. Or better yet, NOT DONE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE!! How would you like to have part of your ears cut off? Any way to stop the bleeding you can press some cornstarch or all purpose flour on it. I learned that working in grooming
