No. Technically, faith is a kind of belief or one source of belief; i.e. belief based on authority or text. Reason is the other main source of belief; it is based on evidence, logic, and knowledge. One can have strong beliefs about certain things, without having any faith. I strongly believe that there will be sunlight tomorrow morning, for example. This is based on my experience, as well as my understanding of the earth's rotation.
Also, I strongly believe that there are no gods, because there is no evidence to support the proposition that gods exist. But I would change my belief immediately upon meeting a god. Faith-based belief doesn't normally change like reason-based belief can.

Faith is the substance for anything hoped for. This includes either, a belief or lack thereof, in Evolution, God, science etc.

Chaos magick would disagree with you. In fact, the best way in Chaos magick to make it work is to specifically KNOW (not believe) that it's full of crap and doesn't work worth a flip.
