Since I'm an optimist, I think it'll be a great year!

2007 has the potential to be a great year. I am hoping for the best.
But here are some real possibility's that could really screw it up:
1. Nuclear war could break out in the middle east (most likely between Israel and Iran)
2. Another catastrophic terrorist attack like 911 is always possible.
3. Weather forecasters are predicting another big hurricane year like Katrina.
4. China may decide it's time to try an take back Taiwan.

Perhaps because I thought that at the beginning of 2005 and it didn't. And then 2006 seemed hopeful but turned out to be the most difficult year of my life. This year I'm not getting my hopes up so that way if it turns out great, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Because the same people have the same ideas, the same prejudices, the same greedy intent, the same free will, the same desires, the same hurtful intent. The changing of the year does not change people for the better. Nothing changes human failings.

In terms of global crisis', the middle east hasnt been calmed, and the recent hanging of Saddam can only incite more than calm peopel down....I hope its a very good year though.
