you see i was with a guy named john and he lied to me for a whole year and said he loved me and that i made him the happiest man in the world but you see he only said that to me and to my family to his family i was not waht he wanted and he didn't love me and i didn't make him happy ... you see one night when he was called in to work i got upset it was his day off . and then we argued for a few mins and then he went to work well that night he came home slept in my bed held me all night and told me he loved me then the next morning he left ( ******* coward anyway) but what i don't get is why can't they be the men they claim to be and be honest tell them the truth why they left and what it was that the woman did wrong ? and why do men always blame everything on the girl .they never take the blame for anyof it ??????? please let me know guys opions will be taken serious but so will womans point of veiw well thanks all for your hel ( ps he was always stuck up his brothers *** )

ok to all of you that answered my question i see that i spelled steel wrong and i am sorry for that . and another thing is that i don't really think all men do i think some men do no point intended for anyone here , so i am sorry if i made you mad or pissed the wrong guy off that was not what i was trying to do i was just trying to get a man's point of veiw ... i am again truely sorry for the way i wrote it out and i hope this will make you all not so mad at me i fixed my mistake ... i know all men are not this way but some are , i don't care what anyone says they are alot of people in general that think that way . as for the guy who said ask him , i would if he was not a coward and was afraid of me ... as for the one that gave me his address i added you so lets chat some time ok .... and for all the rest i am sorry to have made you all mad thanks again for your answer and i do thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul .........................................................

I think you're upset about your particular experience. I wouldn't draw the conclusion that ALL men do something because one did. I'm sorry about that. Bummer.
Oh btw, the word is spelled steel. Steal means something quite different ;).

Some guys, well, just don't know the difference between security and romantic relationships. They do it for the companionship. I know that's wrong, but too many are afraid to admit when they aren't in love, so they'll end up wearing the relationship thin.
Others realize what they're doing and we all know that makes them that much more pathetic. But then there are the ones that thought they had something at the beginning, then felt it slowly slipping away. In an attempt to hold on hoping it would someday come back, it only makes the breakup that much worse.
It's not so simple you know, but at least now you can move on. Good luck!

Honestly.
It's a bad habit to start saying "men are...." or men do this"
This is stero-typeing and over generalization.
PEOPLE act in many diferent ways. Usualy they learned these "GAMES" from thier parents.
Defense Mechanisms.
Some people are not "good" or "skilled" in comunicating, or they just dont know what to say.... or they feel "bad" about what they feel, instead of accepting it to be a simple truth.
Instead ask: What can I do to make a man feel more open and able to communicate with me.
