This may have been night terrors, which people don't remember but happen with relative regularity. It is more common in children, but does happen in adults. It also could have just been a nightmare that you don't remember.
Finally, you may have had a fever you didn't know about, which broke in the night. That will often wake people up.
Feel better!

Some major health problems have symptoms called night sweats where you keep waking up all sweaty even though it wasn't hot and you didn't have a bad dream (though you can have a nightmare, but not remember it since you have to wake up during REM to remember your dreams). You should probably check with your doctor.

i usually wake up hot no matter what. even if i went to bed freezing. i did this pre-pregancy as well, and im noticing its slowly getting a little worse. im sure its pregnancy related, if your not sleeping with a fan you should consider getting one, that really helps me, i got a floor fan and point it right at me and bundle up, whenever i get cold i can just reach over and turn it away, same for if i get hot.

You are having a night sweat. They can be an indication of something or nothing. Women often have them when they are entering the menopause and people also have them when they they are detoxing from cannabis use. Best to get checked out at your GP though.

You should maybe see your GP as soon as you can. It could be that you are having some kind of a fever. Best that you go see your Gp... You get this kinds of fever from eg. Congo Fever, Malaria etc. If it is Malaria then you maybe have it in a less dangerous way, it comes back every year at almost the same time. It could get worse...
