I think that the best way to stay motivated is to have someone with you. It sounds like you need that friend that will push you, and challenge you. Nothing wrong with some friendly competition, right?
If you don't have a friend like that, a lot of gyms have free personal training. I'm not saying it's a sure thing, but trainers are usually good at motivating their clients.

I also have a list of motivating quotes hanging around my weight room. One of my favorites is from Michael Jordan,
"The only person that can beat me, is me."
then there's one from Vince Lombardi,
"The only place 'success' comes before 'work' is in the dictionary."

I hope that helps.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

Tell yourself everyday, and do it the mirror as well, "My goal today is to keep my resolution, and today's menu is..." or "today I am going to excercise" Remind yourself everyday of your goal until it becomes your way of thinking and your new life style. Remember everybody has crumby days, keep going even you fail at first. Changing thought processes and life styles is something that takes perserverance, strength, time, and a positive out look. You can do it.

support groups may work, but a friend or bf/gf that wants to lose weight as much as you do can be the greatest motivation cuz they wont LET you quit, even if you want to. its easier to push others than yourself. thats the program my bf and i have, he pushes me when i wanna quit, i force him to keep going when he wants to quit. it worx.
