I kept awaiting for all my life for you.

Even though I didn't know your existence.

I'm exercising how to composition)

Are these sentence grammatically correct?

"Awaiting" is used inappropriately here and "know your existence" should be "know of your existence" (in other words, "know you existed").

You can restructure the sentence several ways:

* I kept waiting for you for all my life, even though I didn't know OF your existence.

* Although I didn't know of your existence, I kept waiting for all my life for you.

You can replace "know of your existence" with "know you existed".

"Awaiting" does not usually appear after another verb, but after a noun. Examples:

* A contract awaiting a signature (the contract is waiting to be signed by someone).

* Death awaits us all in the end (everyone waits for death because they know they'll die eventually).

* A busy day awaits me tomorrow (I'm waiting for tomorrow because I know it will be a busy day).

It is really one sentence not two.

Even though I didn't know you existed I waited my whole life for you.
