You should use any protein shampoo and conditioner. Read the label and make sure they do not contain any type of alcohol. If you are african american use castor oil cream as needed when your hair gets dry. If you are not african american use any leave in conditioner daily. Hair grows a rate of .3 to .5 in per month if healthy. If your hair is damaged do not put heat, perms or color in your hair. Shampoo and condition daily or as needed. Do not comb or put in ponytail when wet. After shampoo and conditioner, put on castor oil or leave in conditioner, let hair air dry, brush only with boars hair brush, if you need to comb only use large tooth comb. Cover hair when sleeping pillows cause breakage.

I tried these hair pills once because I actually had a bald spot and they seemed to help. Nothing dramatic but I did notice a difference. They are called NUHAIR and you take them daily. But the best defense is to use good shampoo and conditioner. Belive it or not I just found out all the cheap shampoos and conditioners main ingredient are alchol. Which is drying and damaging, so be sure to read the labels and use biolage or kpack, something salon quailty. Also just condition it good, try not to wash it every single day. And if you hair is curly dont ever brush it while its dry it will snap you hair in half. Pic it gently while wet with conditioner in it. Also be easy on the heat, blow dryers, irons and suck. Good luck.

Protein is key in strong healthy hair, but be careful. Too much can make it brittle and break as well. Try using a protein deep conditioner with a plastic bag under a dryer for 30 minutes at least every 2 weeks. Follow with a good conditioner for moisture.

If u want to grow long hair u need to start off with healthy hair.get a blood test n see u dont have aenemia_as it affects hair growth. Then turn to ur diet:eat protiens(esp.lly eggs & fish),green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, nuts and milk or yoghurt.ICheese n butter's good in small amounts for healthy shiny hair,in addition to these, take multi-vitamin suppliments.most IMPORTANTLY _drink atleast 10 glasses of water everyday..ur hair needs it.
Do some exercise daily.
Then, treat ur hair from the outside:Ur hair is dry if it breaks.deep contion with warm oil, massage it on ur scalp n all over ur hair. Then wrap ur hair with a towel dipped in warm water for a hot oil therapy.Shampoo off as usual. Also,u could use egg n milk mixed 2gether for a pre-wash conditioner.Leave this on for 30mins only.U need to follow a regime regularly before u see any results.

Apply warm coconut oil and massage it into your scalp and hair tips. Take a shower with luke warm water and shampoo. Do this daily, it helps.
Breaking is usually due to rough handling of wet hair. Be very gentle with your hair and never brush wet hair. After a shower, let it dry on its own for about 20 minutes in your towel and then start styling it with a dryer, that too on low. Handle your hair with lot of care.

If you use scrunchies or rubber bands on your hair, stop right away. Always brush your hair gently, never tug or pull on the knots. Also use a conditioner that will make it easier to comb through. Look into what is possibly making your hair weak in the first place, you might be vitamin deficient.

You can take biotin daily. I had that problem too, and I used Kérastase (Résistance) shampoo and vials 5 times in a row, then you have to stop using it and change to moisturizers....has always worked for me, and I am really harsh on my hair.
