If you're using floppies, then it's safe to guess that you're using Win98 or earlier.
Insert the floppy into the 'puter's disk drive, and click, "Start, Open"
A small menu box will open that shows folder options and has a small textbox that is showing "C:\" as the starting point for telling the 'puter what to open...
Click that text box on the right side and open a small list of all drives, and choose "A:"
This is the most likely name for your floppy drive, and the default software for vieweing pics will open the disk's folder of images when you click OK.
Once open, on the left-column list of pictures on the disk, press the "Control" key and "A" at the same time, then hold the Control key and press "C".
choose "File, Save As..." (on the upper-left text links) and browse the textbox for "MyDocuments" and give the pics a name, or just keep the folder name already used on the disk.
**You can do the same from Windows Explorer (Start-Programs-Accessories-System tools)
Open Windows Explorer, and scroll the left pane to the floppy drive (again, likely A:\) and click it.
All the folders and files on the disk are shown on the right...Use the first Control key tip (Control+A) on the right panel, and "drag" that group of files to the MyDocuments folder on the left coulmn.

put the floppy in your drive, click on the my computer icon on your desktop. if it's not there, go to start, and then click on my computer. double click the 3 1/2" drive, usually lettered as drive A. Now navigate to the pictures (they should be right there once you open the 3 1/2" A drive, but if you don't see them there, there might be a folder for you to open). Then, while holding down the control button (ctrl), hit the letter "a" on the keyboard, then release. now, again hold down control and press the letter "c", and then release. now open the my documents folder and press and hold the ctrl button and press the "v" on the keyboard, then release.
notes:
ctrl+a selects all files
ctrl+c copies any file that is selected
ctrl+v pastes the copied files into the current folder

Open the disk in a windows brower, select all the pics, got to edit on the top left of the window and scroll down to 'copy' and select it, open the same type of window, only move backwards until you reach your computer drives, select/locate where you want to save the pics, and select 'paste' from the same place where you hit 'copy' and click it to paste your pics in that location.
