everyone always says the best weight to lose weight is to exercise and eat healthy. but im wondering, couldnt you just work out (maybe a little more than usual) and still eat all the greasy food you want? (not thinking about whats HEALTHY, just what'll make me look fit). or would all the exercises in the world have no effect if you're still eating unhealthy?

so you wanna have your cake and eat it too. sure, you could work out and eat junk food and still get positive results in the way your body looks. but junk food is more calorie dense and definitely higher in fat content. but so are many health food supplements. at least many of them are very calorie dense, low in fat but still very calorie dense, like whey and creatine. but as long as your burning more calories that you take in your gonna loose weight. if however your doing weight training you'll still loose fat but as you will be adding muscle, and muscle is much heavier than fat you could gain weight. but it would be the kind of weight you want to gain. junk food has a lot of protein in it which a lot of weight lifters think is good for them. the thing is, if your using weight training to shape up and add muscle then you need to develop a healthy lifestyle so you can stay motivated and have a better chance of staying fit. if you continue to pursue an unhealthy lifestyle by eating junk food and such it will eventually get the better of you and you will loose your motivation and see fewer positive results and eventually quit your program.

The opposite worked for me. Quit eating most of the junk food, but never exercise. Look ok, but I would imagine you would be able to do it the other way around too. Yay for cutting corners!

work out about 4 times as much and you might keep up with your junk food. but still you are putting all that salt and grease into your body and it will eventually kill you.
