I met this guy 4 yrs ago,we live FAR away from one another.Im going to meet him in Feb.He seems VERY into it,we like one another alot,theres no doubt there.But he tends to avoid talking abotu it,like in general.I like to talk about what we can do when i get there,and he seems bored by teh convo.Or if i talk abotu us possibly staying togehter(i know he wants it,)but he doesn't want to talk talk abotu it.But its like,OKAY if im goin to move there,show some enthusiam to make me want to visit you first!..Is this a typical guy trait! I know hes just starting school and he works full time too. He always answers if i call him,msg him,text him.But why doesnt he want to just talk about me coming there, in detail ?

WE have spoken abotu it many times, he actually was the one to bring it up.He tells me "do you want to go out when you get here ?" "Want to look at colleges" .He knows i'm not going to "bone" him lol. I just like to talk about it ALOT. I kinda asked him, and he's like "please dont' make me show emotion over msn." Which ya i understand. He's always been a GREAT guy to me, and he still is, but i want to talk about things all teh time.. and he deosn't..

GO....i said GO for it if you really wanted to and when you get there you'll be able to discover his traits, behaviors and status even more deeper. Just prepare yourselves for better and for worst.

Well If I was him and I had a girl talking like that I would probably Try and convince her to come. If I really was interested.
Now the way he sounds, its like he has a girl and he is not really pushing you to come because he already have something going.

I think it is just caution from his side. He does not know how you feel and he is very open and distance. He does not know whether you will fill the gap. You make one or two move and give him time to make his moves. Initially guy make moves slowly. But as the relationship progresses and touches them, they may make faster moves.
As of now he seems to still be playing the 'wait and watch' game. He wan't solid moves from you side, not just hints.

Maybe theres something you do not know. He could also just be nervous. Maybe he does not think you are serious and he might just be in shock. The only way to know, for sure, is to ask the source. Good luck i hope it works out

from what you are saying here, it really doesn't seem like he is interested. when my bf wants to do something, he kept talking about it and plans it to show his interest. i guess your guy is not so interested. maybe he doesn't know that he is acting weird. i think the wisest thing is to call him up and ask exactly the same thing up here. be straight forward with him.

Because he wants to bone you, and he doesn't want to tell you that, since it may affect whether you still come or not.
