how old do you have to be in california for tattoo training?

im 17 and ill be 18 in may.. but i dont know the exact law.. if i can train before im 18 or not.

Well, I got my tattoo done by a 17 year old who practiced tattoos since she was 11. I guess you just have to have the right equipment and right hook ups to get started. The girl who did my tattoo works in a shop now as a professional (she is 18)

Call local tattoo shops and ask, sometimes they will take you in and let you train for free.
