some folks have alot of bone density that may be where those non apparent pounds are at on you. Growing up I had a friend that was a small, slender elvish looking fellow about 5'4" kinda dweeby looking that anyone wouldn'tve honestly guessed weighed more than 130lbs or so dripping wet, with a weeks sundries on his back, but in fact he was 195.
5'9" and 182 is husky for that height on a normalized scale that was devoped probably somewhere in the 1940s for the military based on concensus of typical caucazoids and later normalized over for civillian use. It shouldn't have much bearing on you.
I figure 5'9" and 182 you are almost certainly mesomorphic.
you should figure your body type out and plan your diet and exercise according to a more specialized and personal regimen.
Be careful when reading anything posted by companies that offer dietary supplement sollutions as thier word is most certainly biased towards selling product and dig deep for the truth of matters for your own health and content.

5'9" and 182 is normal. Dont worry about the weight. Worry about your health. Make sure you are eating and exercising right. My "little" brother was 6'2" and 280 when he was 12, and he was all muscle.

If you can pinch more that an inch of fat at your waist, you need to trim down. If not, that's great. But don't kid yourself.

People have different builds. You're one of them I'm assuming since you aren't fat.
