If they are stupid enough to think he will show up this year, then they are stupid enough to still believe it next year.

With all of these predictions out there 2007, 2013, 2023, ect. ect. You have to figure out which is correct or if they are all wrong. The common saying is that the anti-christ, the devil, evil, satin will rule the World for approx 7 years. The other interesting part is that no one will realize this anti christ to rule until aprox 3.5 years when just about everyone if not everyone will realize it.

So if you take all of these things into consideration 2007 is too soon. 2013 is possible, however improbable; due to that nobody rules the World as far as we know. (It is possible that someone is pulling the strings behind all of the Worlds government; however again it's improbable).

So, my with all of these things in mind Jesus could not come back in 2007 or the whole concept of him coming back is wrong. "Jesus will come back and Satin will bow before him". However not sure of the right word but I think it is the rapture or something like that can happen in 2007; When some of the people get taken to heavan before the end of days.

The other thing is 2013 although it's not realistic; something big will happen. Too many predictions from very creditable sources to deny something will happen that will change the World as we know it.

And last but not least; It doesn't really matter if Jesus comes back today, tommarrow, or in a million years from now. Yes, it's going to be a blessed day and all, but if you live your life for what might happen you are not truelly living your life. If you live a honest life (in other words doing the right things) then it shouldn't matter to you when he is coming back.

I hope this helps

I do believe that Christ is coming soon. Jesus gave signs of His coming. The signs are all here. It could happen anytime. The world is on the verge of blowing itself up. Will it happen in 2007? I don't know. But I do believe we are right at the doorstep of Jesus's return.
As far as me seeking psychiatric counseling. I'll seek counseling when all those people out the who believe that dumb mud somehow bootstrapped itself into intelligence by random chance luck(also known as evolution) also seek counseling.
I don't mean to sound arrogant but certain things just bother me. If I were to say that some inanimate machine like an IBM computer just evolved over billions of years you would say that I was crazy. In that case you would be right to suggest counseling. But when you talk about a living machine like the human brain, which is a zillion times more complex than any IBM computer, somehow or other the rules get changed. It's not only not crazy, It's not only now possible, it's a fact(evolution). Something about that just doesn't add up.

I believe, and a lot of Americans believe, that Jesus Christ will return one day. But I don't know anyone who is making a prediction on when. Jesus said quite plainly that we don't know the day or hour. I find that survey result impossible to believe. It sounds like someone who didn't check his facts carefully. Are you sure it wasn't really a survey taken in 2007 that found 25% of Americans believe Jesus will return one day. That is not the same thing as believing He will return in 2007.

One more thing. The Bible DOES say Jesus will return one day.

WHAT!?! 25%!?! That's crazy. Jesus said that He even He doesn't know when He's coming back. (He purposely limited Himself to do this when someone asked Him this question. He didn't want to lie but He didn't want to tell.) Only God the Father knows. No one else.

They are being ignorant of the Bible. But hey, what do you expect when they study the Bible only for 2 hours every week. Try that with chemistry class. You'd flunk. I think that's what many of us Christians are doing now a days. It's so stupid.

Jesus won't come back until the 7-year reign of the Anti-Christ and the Great Tribulation (basically Hell on Earth for 7 long years to be brought to Earth by man himself, Satan, and God's judgment).

I would like to see a listing of all the end of the world predictions. Most importantly those that had people destroying their wealth and gathering on mountains to be Hoovered up into heaven. I have read of some of them where they recalculated the date and went back for at least one more go at it. Some of the prophets of doom managed to assemble their flocks over five times. I find these things amazing.

Rev. 19:11 Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. And the one sitting on the horse was named Faithful and True. For he judges fairly and then goes to war. 12 His eyes were bright like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him, and only he knew what it meant. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. 14The armies of heaven, dressed in pure white linen, followed him on white horses. 15From his mouth came a sharp sword, and with it he struck down the nations. He ruled them with an iron rod, and he trod the winepress of the fierce wrath of almighty God. 16 On his robe and thigh was written this title: King of kings and Lord of lords.

Heaven opens, and Jesus appears—this time not as a Lamb but as a warrior on a white horse (symbolizing victory). Jesus came first as a Lamb to be a sacrifice for sin, but he will return as a conqueror and king to execute judgment (2 Thessalonians 1:7-10). Jesus’ first coming brought forgiveness; his second will bring judgment. The battle lines have been drawn between God and evil, and the world is waiting for the King to ride onto the field.

Acts 1:9 It was not long after he said this that he was taken up into the sky while they were watching, and he disappeared into a cloud. 10As they were straining their eyes to see him, two white-robed men suddenly stood there among them. 11They said, “Men of Galilee, why are you standing here staring at the sky? Jesus has been taken away from you into heaven. And someday, just as you saw him go, he will return!”

After 40 days with his disciples (1:3), Jesus returned to heaven. The two white-robed men were angels who proclaimed to the disciples that one day Jesus would return in the same way he went—bodily and visibly. History is not haphazard or cyclical; it is moving toward a specific point—the return of Jesus to judge and rule over the earth. We should be ready for his sudden return (1 Thessalonians 5:2), not by standing around “staring at the sky,” but by working hard to share the Good News so that others will be able to share in God’s great blessings.

I am a Christian and you are 100% correct. How insane it would be for me to believe Jesus is coming in 2007 when the Bible says "no man knoweth the hour" referring to the time Jesus will come back. It is insane for people to "think" they know when, however, it is perfectly sane for people to believe He will come back in God's time.
HE IS COMING!!

Reread the Jewish Torah and then the Christian Sept version N.T.(espeally the Revelation according to John) and it most certainly says that "THE CHRIST" is coming back and establishing the kingdom of GOD on EARTH.
Have a good morning MR MUSLIM
PS. most of the world is insane.Regardless of type of faith.

This sort of thing has been going on for... well as he pointed out, 2,007 years. And when it doesn't happen, these folks will madly backpedal, and blame it on Satan misleading them. Then we'll start over. Nothing new here. They will keep believing until they die. If believing in that stuff makes them happy, then I say fine. Just don't try to victimize the rest of us who don't buy into the big fantasy.

That was a very respectful impartial article! Thanks for the link. Where is "Huffington" anyhow? I dont see anyone here who thinks that. Where are these 25% of 2.1 billion people....about half a billion people. Funny none of them I know or nobody here think that. We all trust the Bible that says nobody knows.

I am part of the 75%
