Take her to see a psychiatric nurse at the hospital. Pass the happy pills on to her.

Just maybe she is not talking to herself...she may be talking to the Lord asking that you would mind your own business. Sometimes however, prayer is not answered as you may be her "thorn in the side" as Paul had to keep her dependent upon GOD.
Ulcers are a terrible thing to get for worrying about everyone else and not yourself.

I would ask what she is doing. If she said she was talking to herself, I would think she is a bit weird and maybe walk away from the immediate area.

Nothing. Everyone talks to themselves at some point, whether they are aware of it or not.
It could just be her way of trying to work through an issue.
Now, if she starts addresing the stapler as if it were her spouse, then you should probably consult your boss!

I would assume she is talking on a cell phone stuck in her ear. I like to call them Borg implants. The future is now.

I talk to myself a lot. when I am stressed out about something.
It's a way of working things out. it might look strange and i bet you do it a lot and Just not aware of It

Ask her if she was ok.. and if she was speaking to someone or something else or herself.
I know i speak to myself when working out numbers and speak out loud when trying to put a letter together when a sentence doesn't seem to work.
So it could be as simple as that.

Nothing. Many people talk to themselves to "talk out" issues that they are trying to fix. Just because someone talks to themself does not mean they are crazy.
