Not just completion but it is the year of release. In the old testament in the book of Leviticus God told the people that the seventh year (seven being the number of completion) that any debts owed would be forgiven and that this would be a end of old debts and being of new life. This year for those that believe it will be a new start ,a completion of one chapter of there life and a release into a new life... PS for those that do not believe it is not to late to start.

I believe 2007 is the year for completion as you know the number 7 represents perfection. I know this is the year because I had a dream two days ago and the Lord showed me economic famine is coming to the United States. However, as the world go through turmoil, the Church will rise and shine during a dark time. If the Church is going to shine, it is because God has positioned His people to be a blessing unto those who are suffering in the darkness.

amanda: No I do not believe that the year 2007 has any, special relevance. All this signifies is that Jesus Christ's return to this earth is a year closer than last year. For those who have prediction addiction, this will most certainly be a "tell all" year for them. Humans are doing a fine job with slowly, dismantling this earth. Your question should bring in some prognostic views.

I thought the reason it was a year of completion is because, in numerology, the numbers add up to 9, which is a number of completion. I wonder how many Christians believe in numerology?

ETA - Hey, I wasn't being flippant. Nor am I saying the numerological explanation is truth. But 9 really is the number of completion in numerology--for those who believe in it--and 2+0+0+7 = 9.

The year 2007 is just another year and nothing special.
However, it depends on how one will face and accomplish things by doing his best and committing his whole heart to the Lordship of God.

That's will make it special then...

No is the answer.
Educated Christians believe what Jesus said, "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh"

I have no idea what you are talking about. There will come a time when Jesus comes to rule and reign on the earth but no one knows the exact time. There are signs that show the time is drawing near. (In the Bible - Books of Daniel and Revelation)

I believe that God's work is not done as long as we humans live on this planet. It may be the completion of an era or something.
